Our Story
We started the coffee trend wave in Indonesia when Filosofi Kopi, the film we produced, exploded on the market in 2015. These were followed by the opening of the first Filosofi Kopi shop in Melawai.
Since then, hundreds of coffee shops have mushroomed. Not only in Jakarta but also in other cities throughout Indonesia. In Makassar, coffee shops have grown 10x since our film was released. Coffee is no longer seen as a bitter drink and synonymous with stalls but as a new identity in pop culture that is increasingly developing among millennials and in the middle class in Indonesia.
For us, coffee is not just a trendy drink that ends up on the Instagram accounts of its connoisseurs, but we also use coffee to empower stakeholders so that they can develop pride in coffee as a profession, identity, and engine of the economy. Coffee has never been a stage for the Government as it is today before Filosofi Kopi introduced it with a value that is more than just a commodity, but also meaningful content.
Kopi Philosophy believes that the coffee industry still has tremendous potential to grow, and through it, Indonesia will be on the world stage.
COFFEE PHILOSOPHY

Philosophy of Literacy
Literacy Philosophy is a program from Coffee Philosophy that aims to introduce cultural diversity in Indonesia. Not only an approach through Coffee, Coffee Philosophy also seeks to introduce more about nature, music, gastronomy and fashion.
Filosofi Kopi aims to collaborate with all parts of society by promoting coffee, music, gastronomy and fashion as professions, identities, and economic drivers and also focusing on meaningful content and participating in developing Indonesian coffee that makes us proud in the eyes of the world.
